Mrs Bennet’s Ballroom hosted a houseparty in Bourton on the Water for dancers. Ian and Meryl played 
online for a Regency Ball on the 2nd August 
(called by Libby Curzon aka Mrs Bennet) and a Georgian Ball on 3rd August (called by Diana Campbell, on left of picture).
For the Regency Ball, dances included Flowery Fields, Auretti’s Dutch Skipper, The Gondolca, The Steam Packet Waltz, Flowers of Edinburgh, Coronation Quadrilles (to our recorded music), Raspberry Blossom, Salamanca Castanets and The Duke of Kent’s Waltz.
The Georgian Ball included the dances Holborn March, The Citt Cat Club, Zephyrs and Flora, Always Drunk and Never Sober, La Fete de Regent cotillion, La Comete, The Red House, Shrewsbury Lasses, Mr Beveridge’s Maggot and Hole in the Wall.
