Ian and Meryl played for the Duke of Wellington’s Dancers’ Spring Ball on 26 March 2023. Although the private Ball for DoW members and friends takes place at Rownhams House, Southampton, we played over the internet and beamed in to the hall remotely.
Dances were chosen to fit in with a Spring and flowers theme with nymphs, dryads and shepherds in a paradise garden!
They included: Flower Garden, Le Parterre, Arcadian Nuptials, Les Fleurs du Printemps, Flowery Fields, The Pavilion Waltz, Roses and Lilies, The Voice of Nature, Prior Park, The Flowers of Edinburgh, The Tuberose, The Primrose, La Violette, The Spring and The Lake of Lindermere.
