Ian and Meryl played for Mrs Bennet’s online Regency Burns themed soiree on 27 January 2022. Dances included The Merry Fifers, The Flowers of Edinburgh, Petronella, Speed the Plough, The Old Country Bumpkin, Robert’s Fancy the Mad Dog and The Caledonian Quadrilles. We enjoyed talks and recitals from friends and dancers throughout the world from Canada to Romania and Stewart Murray played the bagpipes to summon in the virtual haggis!
